Terms of Service

Last updated: 24 August 2026 · Effective: 24 August 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and Vaqt for using our app and website. We've kept them as plain and fair as we can. By using Vaqt, you agree to what's below.

The short version: use Vaqt for your own planning, treat it and other users fairly, and remember the app is provided as-is while we keep improving it.

1. Accepting these terms

By downloading, accessing or using Vaqt, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the app. You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your country to use Vaqt.

2. The service

Vaqt is a personal productivity app that helps you manage tasks, a calendar, habits, prayer times and reminders. We're actively developing it, so features may be added, changed or removed over time.

3. Your account

4. Acceptable use

To keep Vaqt safe and reliable for everyone, you agree not to:

5. Your content

Your tasks, habits, notes and other content are yours. You keep all rights to them. You grant us only the limited permission needed to store, sync, back up and display that content to you as part of running the service. We don't claim ownership of your content and we won't use it for advertising.

6. Our intellectual property

Vaqt, including its name, logo, design, and software, belongs to us and is protected by law. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app for your own use, under these terms. Please don't copy our branding or use it in ways that suggest a partnership we haven't agreed to.

7. Purchases

Vaqt is free to start. If we introduce paid plans or in-app purchases in the future, the price, billing and renewal terms will be shown clearly before you buy, and purchases made through the App Store or Google Play are also subject to those stores' terms. We'll update these terms when paid features arrive.

8. Availability & changes

We work hard to keep Vaqt available and dependable, but we can't promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may update, pause or discontinue features, and we may revise these terms as the app evolves. If we make significant changes, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.

9. Disclaimers

Vaqt is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. While we aim for accurate prayer times and reliable reminders, you should not rely on the app as your only source for time-critical matters. Please double-check anything important.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vaqt is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost data or profits, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the app. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have that cannot be limited under the law of your country.

11. Termination

You may stop using Vaqt and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly breach these terms, or where we're required to by law. On termination, the sections that by their nature should continue (such as content ownership, disclaimers and liability) will remain in effect.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Vaqt is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any disputes will be handled by the competent courts of that jurisdiction, unless mandatory local law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
